A connection rooted
in Islamic history.
Before we tell you what Abyssinia Academy is, we wanted to remember a story that connects us to a beautiful part of Islamic history.
The story of Bilal ibn Rabah رضي الله عنه reminds us that Islam does not measure a person by their background, status, or appearance. It honors faith, character, and devotion to Allah.
And the story of the first Muslims who sought refuge in Abyssinia reminds us of the special place this land holds in our history.
Abyssinia Academy was inspired by that connection. Our mission is to serve the Habesha community through accessible Qur'an education while welcoming students from all backgrounds.
